Well, there I am in all of my 39-weeks-pregnant glory.
I honestly didn't think that I would still be pregnant at this point- and no, that wasn't just wishful thinking! Twice now I've had several-hour bouts of contractions. Of course both times they've stopped right when I was getting ready to head to the hospital.
I've also eaten the world famous Skipolini's Preggo Pizza. It made me feel sick for 2 days but didn't induce labor :(
Should I try Castor Oil? I'm definitely tempted....
Anyhow, the stats from my doctor's appointment today: still only 1.5cm dialated (same as two weeks ago), 50% effaced (which doesn't mean much) and..... still pregnant.
The good news is that I'm totally caught up on my laundry- washing AND putting away. Maybe I'll work on cleaning the rest of the house this afternoon.
Oh, and I finally got Dylan to sit still long enough to come up with names for this child.... at least we're 99% sure (the longer we have the more times it changes!)
Hey, wouldn't it be cool if this kid's birthday was 10/10! That's tomorrow. Pray for that!

You are so beautiful pregnant, Julie, I have to agree with your other friends!! I know waiting now is hard and extra frustrating because you're having so many contractions and then they just stop. I think about you all the time and I'll be praying it will be soon but all in perfect time. We'll have these babies in our arms before we know it, then WHAT in the world will be do when our husbands leave for work in the morning and we're left to manage 3 kids????!! :)
